How it works

Send the details. We’ll take it from there.

You have already done enough scrolling through used-car ads. The inspection process should be the straightforward part.

The process

Four steps. No workshop waffle.

01

Send us the car

Share the make, model, suburb, seller or dealer details and when you hope to inspect. If you only have an ad link and a phone number, that is enough to start.

02

We help sort access

The seller or dealer needs to approve a safe place and suitable time. With their permission, we can help take the awkward coordination off your plate.

03

We inspect it properly

The car is assessed in person. What can be checked depends on the vehicle, its condition, the location and what can be safely accessed on the day.

04

You get the useful bits

Your report records the findings clearly, with supporting photos where relevant, so you know what to ask, investigate or factor into the deal.

What we need from you

The car, the suburb and someone who can open it.

For a private sale, the seller will need to agree to the time and location. At a dealership, the dealer needs to approve access. You do not necessarily need to attend once those details are confirmed.

Have these handy

The basics are enough to begin.

  • Vehicle make, model and year
  • Suburb or dealership location
  • Seller or dealer contact details
  • Your preferred timing

Before you buy
